My Visa Status, True Stories Panel

Them against us? Us against them? Or are we allowing the system to divide us (again)? Katherine sits with Dani Herrera to host a panel of current, past, and non-Visa holders. Some guests will be anonymous, some public, and all of them are ready to tell us how it is and how they think it should be.

12pm PST -- 1pm CST -- 3pm EST -- 7pm GMT -- 8PM BST

The goal of this event is to hold a conversation with people who hold working Visas in the United States and allow these true stories help DEIB Professionals acknowledge and understand the anxiety-inducing difficulties, pains, and struggles our immigrant people face on a daily basis, both at work and home.

  1. Show DEIB practitioners that Visa holders look diverse and have a variety of experiences.
  2. Discuss what working in the US means to them and how it lands on them in the workplace when it comes to DEIB initiatives.
  3. Have a conversation about how work visas can limit their personal, professional, and economic growth as well as have a deep impact on their mental and physical health.
